DINE ABOUT TOWN
We are participating DAT this year. The menu will be up soon!
What is an Izakaya? It is a place people gather and enjoy the drinks and tapas food. I = Stay, Zakaya (Sakaya) = liquor store, meaning the bar which serves hearty food.
Nombe (pronounced “nom – bay”) refers to someone who likes to drink heartily. We are bringing Japan’s most popular eating and drinking establishments, IZAKAYA, to the heart of Mission. Come taste the real Japanese Izakaya fare made by the chef who grew up in Japan eating them.
We offer Japanese tapas food made with Northern California’s seasonal, sustainable, and locally sourced produce along with over 90 brands of premium sake, organic Shochu cocktails, as well as eight Japanese and local beers on tap.
We keep our door open late on weekends to satisfy the hungry soul of the hip Mission crowd. Check out our monthly menu under the menu tab, and click the arrows to drop down our brunch, drinks! We also offer weekend brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11 – 2 PM. Along with fresh ground coffee, Shichimi Bloody Mary and a Mimosa, our brunch is guaranteed to jumpstart your day after a long night of drinking at Nombe!!!
